KOSMOS NORD

leonore brunner is a pianist, composer and sound artist. she explores the memory of sensitive spaces whether natural, urban, real, or imaginary, through compositions or live performances. her practice questions our modes of listening and offers an experience in which receptiveness to sound becomes central. her process involves capturing sounds, soundscapes, textures, noises which she transforms through electronic interfaces into a free, malleable material. she also works with her own voice, used as an instrument in its own right, sometimes sung, sometimes altered, to expand the expressive range of her compositions. through this work of transformation, she reinvents spaces and their resonance, inviting a renewed form of listening, between perception and memory. she conceives listening as both a poetic and political act, capable of reweaving connections in a world marked by tensions. by valuing this quality of attention, she invites us to perceive differently, to feel the other, and to reconnect with an essential dialogue.

Pálma Fazakas is an interdisciplinary artist focusing on various aspects of the sonic experience through sound, radio, text, and performance. Their definition of a sonic experience is concerned with how listening allows us to engage with thoughts and ideas that are complex, challenging, difficult to process and resist easy resolution.
They are currently enrolled at the HKB Contemporary Arts Practice program, with a focus on Sound Arts.

Eco Errázuriz is a performer, improviser and composer from Medellín, Colombia, based in Bern, Switzerland.
They craft immersive, ritual spaces for attentive listening through the use of scores for audiences and musicians to perform, and by embodying instrument-characters in audiovisual performances.
In their practice as computer musician, they explore the language of drone, noise and ambient music through open-form compositions and the practice of free improvisation.
